Watamu Bay is 115kms from the city of Mombasa, the most magnificent white sand beach, blue/green crystal waters, superb coral reefs was recently voted among the top ten best beaches in the world by the Sunday Times tour operator poll. Watamu national park boasts of over 600 species of fish in just 10 square kilometer. Those diving outside the fringe stand an excellent chance of spotting the magnificent whale shark and the occasional visitor known as manta. Mida creek a tidal lagoon of mangrove forest teaming with the exotic bird life and sunset Arabic dhow cruises, whilst out to sea there is found the Hemingways famous deep sea fishing, wild dolphin watching, snorkeling and diving.
