Sabuk Lodge has 6 wonderfully furnished open sided en suite cottages. The Eagle cottage is inimitable family units that consist of 2 bedroom both ensuite large sitting/dining room and a private plunge pool.

The cottages are open with verandah, shower and toilet, each with its own fabulous view. Sabuk was fashioned out of the local landscape, built with local materials, the hillside, and flora, twisted wood and stone boulders incorporated into the architecture. Open walls and private verandahs face out over the river gorge 150 feet below.

- River fishing with hand lines - for Barbells, catfish and occasionally tilapia River swimming, tubing the 'rapids' and rock jumping.
- Swimming in the swimming pool/s, the bigger one at the deep end is about 6 foot 3 inches (about 2 metres) deep and it is powered by solar.
- Horse riding - rides can be arranged with prior notice. This is an extra, and cost is U.S. $40 per person for approximately an hour and a half's ride, and we recommend riding in the morning. Be advise this activity is for competent riders only.
- Helicopter rides - these can be arranged with prior notice for hour long rides or day safaris, using helicopters based in Nanyuki.
