It is only at the KICC that meetings with large numbers can take place in the eastern African region. The facility in this 30 storey building includes a conference room with a capacity of over 4000 delegates. It has simultaneous interpretation Equipment (SIE) with capability of up to 7 languages a modern business centre, banking facility, Expansive grounds, ample and secure parking.

Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, boasts of being the main conferencing city in the East Africa region through Kenyatta International Conference Centre. This centre commonly referred to as KICC has been revamped and refurbished since 2004. The renovations at the centre saw the branding of meeting rooms to reflect the great diversity of Kenya’s tourist attractions. Kenyatta International Conference Centre has since then held a lot of international conferences like the Africities conference, Commonwealth Law Conference etc. The KICC Helipad the only one in the city located on the top tier of the tower.

Facilities at the Kenyatta Conference Centre
The rooms comprises of Aberdare, Shimba hills, Lake Turkana, Impala and Lenana. The plenary Hall famous for past hosting of the East African Safari Rally events is now known as Tsavo Ballroom.
 
The Plenary Hall at the Kenyatta Conference Centre
The plenary hall - now Tsavo ballroom is the largest conference chamber of its kind in east & central Africa. It caters for large international meetings, exhibitions and grand ball and has a capacity for 4000 delegates’ theater style, 2500 banquet/ classroom style and about 5000 for cocktail reception.  
 
TheAmphitheatre at the Kenyatta Conference Centre
The amphitheatre at the KICC is also known as the “Heritage and Modernity Meet.” Traditionally state functions, official international events and presidential level meetings are held at the amphitheatre. The amphitheatre is the cone shaped hut –roofed structure from the outside. The facility is medium sized convening with a capacity of 800 sitting on the balconies surrounding the auditorium. It’s equipped with SIE both.

The Impala and Lake Turkana room at the Kenyatta Conference Centre
Situated on the first floor on the southern end of Tsavo ballroom are the Impala and Lake Turkana room. The two conference centre combined can accommodate up to 140 delegated theatre style and 70 classroom / banquet
 
The Lenana & Aberdare Hall in the Kenyatta International Conference Centres
Kenyatta International Conference Centres home to the Lenana and Aberdare Hall situated on the lower ground floor. They are suitable for medium size conferences, meeting and seminars. Combined they can accommodate up to 650 delegates theater style and 350 classroom/ banquet.

The Shimba & Taifa Hall at the Kenya Conference Centre
The Shimba & Taifa Hall at the Kenya Conference Centre are equal in size allows 150 delegates theater style and between 100-120 classroom style. Both are suitable for small meetings and discussion groups. Shimba is on the first flow while Taifa is on the lower ground floor.

The Batian room at the Kenya Conference Centre
The Batian room is located on the first floor and it is used as a workstation for secretarial services /typing pool. Batian has a capacity of 12 people
