8 Day Serengeti  Animal Migration  Adventure Safari (wildebeste migration)

Day 1: Tarangire
Depart from Arusha to Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing
Tarangire Park has almost a weird look about it, because of the ancient 100-year-old or more Baobab trees scattered about the landscape, giving it an ancient look during the dry season when the trees have shed their leaves. It the ideal place to see elephant especially between the months of July and October.
Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge or similar
 
Day 2: Lake Manyara
After breakfast a morning drive to Lake Manyara Park and take a picnic lunch during a game viewing drive in the park.
 
Lake Manyara National Park

The Lake Manyara is famous for its tree climbing lions and great herds of elephant, as well as sightings of hippo, giraffe and the pink feathered flamingo. The park has diverse ecological zones ranging from the rocky Great Rift Valley wall, a underground water, forest, woodland, open grassland and swamps.
Overnight Kirurumu Luxury Tented Camp or similar
 
Day 3 and 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast take a guided walk from Kirurumu camp enjoy the spectacular views from the escarpment across the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a local village where the local Medicine man “doctor” may be in residence. After lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater for overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.

The following day, after an early breakfast, descend 610 metres to the crater floor for a full day's game viewing with picnic lunch. As the warm rays of the sun kiss the earth and the morning mist clear, the first glimpse of the crater is awesome. Once a large volcano, now a caldera (extinct volcano) it is a vast amphitheatre, 14kms/9miles across and a stunningly gorgeous Garden of Eden huge numbers of wildlife, and a centre piece of the Serengeti eco-system.Meals and overnight Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar
 
Day 5, 6 and 7: Serengeti
After breakfast, take morning drive to the Serengeti National Park, unique for the annual Wildebeeste migration. Afternoon game viewing drive and overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge or similar
The following two days of game viewing drives in the Serengeti according to the animal migration Programmes.
 
Serengeti National Park
It is the Wildebeest Migration for which Serengeti National Park is perhaps most famous for the more than a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras. The best times to view migration in Serengeti Tanzania is December to July while in Maasai Mara Kenya the best time is August to November. Between December and March, the herds congregate in Eastern Serengeti Plains where carving takes place.  Births of over half a million calves annually. Wildebeest, animal instinct is so strong that no predators, drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants

Day 8: Arusha
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip at Seronera for the scheduled flight back to Arusha. Depart for home or take a coast holiday in Zanzibar
