7 Days Luxury Adventure Travel in Kenya Visit this Renown Wildlife Haven  Nairobi - The Aberdares Samburu - Masai Mara. The highlights are:Aberdares, Samburu,Masai Mara.  The Aberdare National Park is home to the Aberdare Mountain Ranges that stretch high above the plains forming of peaks of 13,000 feet above sea level and dip into deep, V shaped valleys covered by lush vegatation with streams and rivers cascading over spectacular waterfalls, including Kenya's longest drop of approximately 1,000 feet. Aberdare is located in the central highlands, west of Mount Kenya, Nyeri District in Central Province and has  an area of 766km2.

The Aberdare Mountains are one of the homes of ‘Ngai’ which mean God in the Gikuyu Language are located in the heart of the Kikuyu highlands area in central Kenya. To the east of the ranges are the fertile farming lands of the Kikuyu, which were settled by the colonists in the early decades of the twentieth century. The area between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya is part of what became known as the European highlands. To the west, the range falls steeply away into the Rift Valley and offers superb views of Lake Naivasha and the distant Mau Escarpment.

DAY 1:Nairobi
Pick up at the airport with our courtesy bus then transfer to your hotel, the Nairobi Serena Hotel or similar(this is a twenty minutes drive from the airport) check in and spend the afternoon either relaxing or touring the cosmopolis of Nairobi. The tour includes visits to the parliament, the national museum, the Snake Park, the railway museum etc. After dinner an overnight at the Nairobi Serena Hotel ends our first day in Africa

DAY 2: Nairobi - Aberdares National Park
After an early start, we drive through the rich farmlands of the central highlands seeing coffee and pineapple plantations and colourful villages. Our drive to the Aberdare Country Club enjoys fine views of Mount Kenya. Lunch is served at the Club; then transfer to the Ark, which is situated right in the very heart of the Aberdare National Park close to a waterhole. Here you can view closely Elephant, Rhino, Giant forest Hog, Antelope, Leopard, Buffalo and on occasions the rare and elusive Bongo. Lush green trees provide the ideal setting for baboons and colourful birds. At night enjoy illuminated game viewing from the gallery as the animals come to drink. Dinner and overnight stay at the Ark which is built like the proverbial Noah's Ark.

DAY 3: Aberdares National Park- Samburu National Park
After breakfast depart north, cross the equator and continue to the plateau that leads eventually into the hot and dusty bush scrubland of the Samburu. Note the brightly arrayed tribal dress of the Samburu people. On arrival at Samburu Lodge we take lunch, then have a siesta or relax in the swimming pool. Afternoon game drives, returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Many distinct species of wildlife exist here including Reticulated Giraffe, the shy long necked antelope Gerenuk, Grevy's Zebra and the blue legged Somali Ostrich.

DAY 4: Samburu National Park
A full day is spent game viewing in this panoramic national park - a scenario of semi-arid land, treeless plains and rugged landscape. We focus on trying to trace the species special to this region north of the equator including the Uaso Nyiro crocodile and Beisa's Oryx. DAY 5: Samburu National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning game drives then return to the lodge. After breakfast our drive takes us to the airstrip where we take a mid mornin flight to the Maasai Mara via Nairobi for lunch. Pick up at the airstrip in the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve and conduct game drives as you are ferried to your lodge/luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve
A full day is spent driving through the Savannah lands of the Mara, which forms the northern corridor of the Serengeti plains of Tanzania. In July or August every year, the great migration of the wildebeest is witnessed here; one of the most fascinating sights in the animal kingdom as millions of these antelopes move into the Mara from Tanzania in search of water and greener pastures. Behind them follow the predators- lions, jackals, and hyenas - picking out the weak, aged and sick and leaving the strong to continue for another season. After the viewing of a golden sunset by the camp grounds we take our dinner and proceed to retire for the day at Luxury Tented Camp or Lodge.

DAY 7: Masai Mara game Reserve - Nairobi
Pre-breakfast game drives to see the few animals that might not have been sighted as yet. Return to the Lodge/Tented Camp for breakfast then leave the Wildlife sanctuary of the Mara traveling towards Nairobi, which is reached in the early afternoon. The evening is spent at leisure and after a complimentary dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, we proceed to the airport for our journey back home.
